From the main screen in LoanSpread you can enter your loan information and instantly see what your payment on the loan will be. But you also see what the payments would be on 134 variations on the loan with adjustments to the loan amount and interest rate. In the illustration to the right (click to enlarge) you see the payment displayed for a 30 year loan of $100,000 at 8.75%. But you also see the different payment amounts for the same loan at several higher and lower interest rates as well as what the payment would be if you increase or decrease the loan amount by various increments. LoanSpread helps you zero in on the loan that best fits for your budget. |

 Loan Summary Window |
Double-click on any loan displayed in the main screen's loan grid to view a detailed summary of any of the 135 loans. In one easy place, the Loan Summary window details the Amount Borrowed, the Payment Frequency, the Term, Annual Interest Rate, Payment (Principal and Interest), Payment (Principal, Interest, Taxes and Insurance), Total Principal Paid, Total Interest Paid, Total Principal and Interest Paid, Total Taxes Paid, Total Insurance Paid, Total Taxes and Insurance, and Total Paid Over the Term (PITI). |

When you right-click on a loan displayed in the main screen's loan grid a popup menu appears from which you can choose "Amortization Schedule for this loan". This will display the loan's Amortization Schedule (seen to the right - click to enlarge). Once you have opened the Amortization Schedule screen, you can easily add prepayments (also called "additional payments") to your amortization schedule and see how much more quickly you can pay off the loan. Prepayments allow you to pay off a loan faster and save a great deal of money. You can add additional payment amounts to all of your payments, a range of payments or a single payment, or a combination of payments. |
